Dr. Nariman Amiri, Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics

Dr. Amiri graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2009. He then completed a 3-year Prosthodontics residency program at the University of Iowa, graduating with a Certificate in Prosthodontics in 2012. Since then, he has been in full-time private practice in the Lower Mainland. Dr. Amiri has continued his studies by attending multiple mini-residencies on topics related to the surgical placement and management of implants, and soft and hard tissue around teeth and implants.

Dr. Amiri’s area of expertise is in complex restorations of teeth and implants, including full mouth reconstructions, treatment of partial and full edentulism, immediate placement and restoration of implants in the aesthetic zone and posteriors, full arch implant-supported fixed and removable rehabilitations including all-on-4 concept treatment, and surgical and restorative management of complications related to both teeth and implants.

Beyond full-time clinical practice, Dr. Amiri has been involved in teaching and lecturing at the UBC graduate clinic, and at various study clubs and symposiums. He has served as a board examiner for the specialty board certification at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and as a specialist member of the inquiry committee at the BCCOHP for the past several years. In 2024, he was selected as one of 12 clinicians in North America for the 2-year “Emerging Leaders Program” (ELP ver. 2.0, 2024–2025), sponsored by the prestigious scientific institute, the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation (FOR.org).

Dr. Amiri lives in North Vancouver with his wife, two children, and their labradoodle, Candy. He is an avid photographer and skier. Dr. Amiri speaks English and Farsi.
